B2C booking engine Tripfez is helping the travel trade sell halal-friendly tours to an untapped global Muslim travel market. The company meets the specific faith-based needs of Muslim travellers, has developed a new global distribution channel for agents and operators offering halal tourism experiences.
Tripfez was officially launched to the global travel trade at last week’s ITB Berlin, the world’s largest travel business event.
Agents selling their halal excursions on Tripfez will be exposed to a global audience of Muslim travellers who spent more than US$142 billion on tourism in 2014 – a figure expected to reach more than $233 billion in 2020, or around 25% of total global travel expenditure, according to Thomson Reuters.
Tripfez allows travellers to browse and book a portfolio of handpicked hotels and tours that meet their specific faith-based needs.
Similarly, agents who register their Muslim-focused tours with Tripfez will be asked to meet certain criteria before they are distributed through the website.
Agents interested in selling their tours through Tripfez can do so by registering online at www.tripfez.com.
