HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts, a leading global hotel representation company, today announced its most recent partnership with Singapore-based Peak Hospitality Solutions, as it plans to expand into Asia.
Further to last month's announcement of an expansion to the US market, which saw the appointment of Tiffany Topcik as VP for Business Development in the Americas; HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts is now announcing its move into Asia. The UK head-quartered company has recently signed an agreement with Peak Hospitality Solutions (PHS), a Singapore-based business. The goal is to recruit independent hotels and resorts as well as sign new partnerships with regional corporate booking agents, travel management companies and online travel agents.
Mark Lewis, CEO of HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts, further explained:
"Over the past 10 years HotelREZ has grown to become one of the leading hotel representation services in the UK and Europe. Our recent strategy has been to expand this reach even further, first to North America, and now Asia. Our partnership with PHS will not only help us to target independent hotels in the area, but also build more demand from Asian travellers for our existing hotel portfolio. By creating partnerships with local companies, that have the real local expertise, we are able to provide a faultless service to our hotel members wherever they are in the world."
Heading up the operations as VP for Business Development, Asia Pacific will be Jansen Low, a senior hospitality executive with years of experience in the region. Low has an MBA in Hospitality Management from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, and was until recently the Assistant Director of Sales at Sheraton Macao, Cotai Central. Prior to that, he has served in numerous hospitality companies including Pegasus Solutions and Sabre Hospitality.
Lucas Peng, Owner of Peak Hospitality Solutions, stated:
"HotelREZ is well known for having one of the widest ranges of travel agency preferred partnerships, as well as excellent account management and consultancy services. We are truly excited to be partnering with them, and to be able to provide Asian independent hotels with one of the highest quality representation services in the market today, ensuring they can remain independent yet also compete worldwide."
