Fourth quarter 2016 Travel Network revenue increased 7.1% to USD 569.1 million, compared to USD 531.2 million for the same period in 2015. Travel Network global bookings increased 5.2 % in the quarter, driven by 6.8% growth in Asia-Pacific, 6.5% growth in EMEA, 4.4% growth in North America and 3.9% growth in Latin America.
Fourth quarter Travel Network operating income increased 10.7% to USD 194.0 million from USD 175.2 million in the prior-year period.
Fourth quarter 2016 Travel Network Adjusted EBITDA increased 8.7% to USD 226.1 million from USD 208.0 million in the prior-year period.
Full-Year 2016 Financial Summary
For the full-year 2016, Sabre total consolidated revenue increased 13.9% to USD 3.373 billion, compared to USD 2.961 billion for the prior year.
Consolidated net income attributable to common stockholders totaled USD 242.6 million, compared to USD 545.5 million in 2015, a decrease of 55.5%.
Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA totaled USD 1,046.6 million, an 11.2% increase from USD 941.6 million in 2015.
Full-year Airline and Hospitality Solutions revenue increased 16.9% to USD 1,019.3 million, compared to USD 872.1 million in 2015. Within this, full-year Airline Solutions revenue increased 11.5% to USD 794.6 million from USD 712.9 million in 2015.
Full-year Airline and Hospitality Solutions operating income increased 20.6% to USD 217.6 million from USD 180.4 million in 2015.
Full-year Travel Network revenue increased 12.9% to USD 2.375 billion, compared to USD 2.103 billion in 2015. Full-year revenue growth was driven by global bookings growth of 14.2%.
Excluding the Abacus acquisition, full-year global bookings increased 3.1%, driven by 5.7% growth in EMEA, 2.7% growth in North America and 0.8% growth in Latin America. Global air bookings share increased to 37.1% from 36.6% in 2015.
Full-year Travel Network operating income increased 11.1% from USD 835.2 million to USD 751.5 million.
